Project Highlights
Nicknamed the “big build”, Sacramento’s largest construction project in history included a 740,000 sq. ft. terminal and a 19 gate concourse building. The LEED Silver project incorporated BIM and an IPD Methodology. BAGS was intimately involved in the design build of the air side terminal at the Sacramento International Airport.
- BAGS was responsible for the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the exterior skin system including pre-glazed windows, aluminum composite panels and sunshades.
- The BAGS team designed natural daylighting clerestories
- Expansive glass walls
- Solar shading devices integrated into the curtain wall design
- BAGS provided Low-E glass to minimize heat gain
