Project Highlights

Midfield and Gateway Terminal is the $1.3 billion new remote satellite concourse at LAX. The first phase is approximately 750,000 sq. ft. of passenger and operational space with 11-13 wide-body gates, 50,000 sq. ft. of passenger tunnel access and 80,000 sq. ft. of utility tunnels. This monumental project for BAGS boasts two separate constructions including the Midfield terminal and the Gateway project. The facades of these two buildings total more than 140,000 sq. ft. of Curtain Wall that is made up of 38 separate Curtain Wall Elevations and 11 Clearstories incorporating glazing, metal panels and shadow boxes, along with 10’ wide perforated sunshades.
