The BAGS Team is made up of builders, architects, structural engineers, production engineers and craftsman that have come together to focus their talents in the design-build of some of the most iconic buildings in California. BAGS has earned a reputation for embracing large complex projects through a commitment to servicing customer needs and championing innovation throughout the organization.
BAGS has developed an experienced Project Management team, ensuring that each project includes the most up-to-date means and methods of construction, while providing open and accurate communication with the construction team. Primary goals include meeting project schedule deadlines and delivering full-service within target design budgets.
A Project Manager at BAGS must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive knowledge of unitized systems.
- Experience ordering glass and aluminum from regional vendors.
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
- Experience working with General Contractor’s building 3-20 story buildings.
- Knowledge of unitized wall and composite panel rainscreen systems.
- Experience managing a schedule on Class A office buildings or large public buildings.
- Ability to articulate and discuss interface detailing with customers and architects.
- Ideal candidate would have a college degree in Construction Management and 5+ years of industry specific experience.
- Responsible, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions. You have a sense of urgency and are driven to succeed. You are self-motivated, organized, can work with minimal direction, manage your time well, and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Ability to learn to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, as well as Bluebeam and AutoCAD
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

At BAGS we have carefully cultivated a dedicated team and empowered them with Lean ideals and the most advanced technology on the market. The BAGS engineering team is streamlined and rapidly moves projects from design model to shop drawings and fabrication assemblies.
A Project Engineer/Drafter at BAGS must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Computer savvy with some experience in drafting software including Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
- Responsible, eager and engaged individual with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. You are self-motivated, organized, can work with minimal direction, manage your time well, and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field is helpful.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

The BAGS field is made up of Union Glaziers, lead by one or more Superintendents with extensive glazing experience. BAGS has been cultivating this team of in-house Union Glaziers for decades, based on their industry knowledge of schedule building, installation means and methods and constructability. This internal leadership team is the backbone of BAGS and maintains the highest standards of safety and integrity to assure the successful completion of each project.
A Journeyman Glazier at BAGS must possess the following skills and attributes:
- 5 years’ experience as an apprentice glazier
- Ability to read Blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Fabrication: consisting of cutting, notching, drilling, assembly, of various window systems primarily made of aluminum extrusion. Extrusions can weigh 50 to 150 Lbs.
- Fabrication can take place on tables, saw horses, or sometimes on the ground at the jobsite.
- Metal installation: layout requires kneeling on ground, as well as transferring control lines to head of window from a ladder. Metal install requires drilling and fastening with various anchors, cut material can weigh 5-50 lbs. Work performed from Knees or ladders or other mechanical lifts.
- Glass installation: Primary method of glass setting is manual. Glazier is expected to be able to safely handle up to 75 lbs alone, and up to 125 lbs when setting glass with additional help.
- Sealant work: glazier is expected to know and be able to perform all types of sealant work. Work primarily done from knees, ladder or other lifting device.
- The trade of Glazing is manual labor, with Craftsmanship as a primary expectation.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

The Plant - BAGS 50,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility and 50,000 sq. ft. Sacramento based assembly facilities are both located in the center of California, allowing for efficient servicing of all projects. The Net-Zero Fabrication Plant boasts state-of-the-art glazing capabilities and provides each of our projects with uncompromising quality control.
A Shop Production Worker at BAGS must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience with power tools
- Proficient with basic math and have the ability to read a tape measure
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Construction background a plus
- Experience working with table saws, drill presses and operate basic hand tools
- Able to handle a very fast paced working environment
- Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The product is heavy, so production workers are required to be able to safely handle 42-73lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
